Sippin' Saturdays 

Join us every Saturday - March 30th until November 2nd - from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m., for Sippin' Saturday. Each Saturday, the winery will serve up a different local food vendor and musical group to entertain locals and visitors.  The famous Irvin~House Vineyards Wine-a-Ritas will be served on the patio and Irvin~House Vineyards wine may be purchased by the glass or bottle and enjoyed outside. Tastings in the Firefly Vodka distillery and Irvin~House Vineyard winery are only $6.00 to taste 6 of 24 flavors of Firefly spirits and $4.00 to taste 5 wines. Patrons will receive complimentary glasses during both tastings. Bring your lawn chairs & blankets to picnic under the oaks and relish in the Lowcountry beauty. 

 

Winestock 

Irvin~House Vineyards is embracing the Age of Aquarius with their new event, Winestock Music Festival on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from noon until 6:00 p.m. Think of it as Woodstock with a wine twist, Winestock will offer wine and Firefly tastings, live music, food, a “Best Hippie” costume contest and  entertainment for the little hippies. Admission is $5 per adult, children are free. More details here... 

 

Grape Stomping Festival 


Irvin~House Vineyards’ Annual Grape Stomping Festival on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Irvin~House Vineyards located on Wadmalaw Island. Admission is only $10.00 per car. 

 

The public is invited to join in the yearly harvest and stomping of the grapes at  Charleston's only winery, Irvin~House Vineyards, located at 6775 Bears Bluff Road on Wadmalaw Island. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to picnic on the expansive lawn, but no coolers please. The highlight of the Grape Stomping Festival is the Lucy Look-A-Like Contest, where "I Love Lucy" Fans will get their chance to don their best Lucy costume and reenact the famous 1956 episode of "I Love Lucy" when Lucy takes a job in a vineyard and stomps grapes. 

 

Along with the Lucy Look-A-Like Contest, a new contest has been added to bring out competitors who aren’t afraid to get a little dirty. The contest will consist of teams of two who will compete in a grape stomping contest to see who can produce the most juice from 20 lbs. of grapes in three minutes.

Blessing of the Vine 

Join us Saturday, November 9, 2013 for the Blessing of the Vine Festival. It’s a blessing for all wine lovers at Charleston’s only vineyards and winery, Irvin~House Vineyards at the Annual Blessing of the Vines Festival. The public will get their chance to witness the blessing of muscadine grapevines by a priest, enjoy live music, food and drink all while admiring the charming setting of Irvin~House Vineyards. The event is open to the public, admission is $10.00 per car and a portion of the proceeds will go to a local charity TBD. 
 

 

Winestock

Cork Shuckin' Festival 
Celebrate the new year with the annual Cork Shuckin’ Party. Admission is free, but patrons are encouraged to bring their cash and credit for a wide variety of libations and food options. Oysters will be available ~ $15 All You Can Eat along with delicious food and music. 
 
 
Holiday Open Houses 

With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season approaching, it has many thinking of ways to entertain family and friends during the holidays. Stay tuned for details on the 2013 Holiday Open Houses. 
 
Each festive event will have local vendors selling delightful seasonal gifts, and shoppers over the age of 21 will receive a complimentary glass of our homemade, hot mulled wine. 

Regular hours at the vineyard are Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
